Blockbuster

Spider-Man entertains Blockbuster patrons as he climbs down from the roof of the store. Zeppos & Associates hired Spider-Man to drop by to help promote the video release of the movie.
Spider-Man poses with metro Milwaukee area children who want to be a superhero, like Spider-Man, when they grow up. After climbing down the building, Spider-Man hung out with some children, while their parents browsed through the video store.
When Blockbuster wanted to position the DVD and VHS releases of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and "Spider-Man" as must-see movies to rent and purchase, it turned to Zeppos & Associates. The firm planned release events at local Blockbuster stores to generate significant and diverse media coverage to promote the releases. Zeppos & Associates planned all aspects of these fun, family-oriented events that allowed customers to participate in games directly tied to the releases, including magic shows by "wizards," a rooftop appearance by Spider-Man, prize giveaways and more. The events were well-attended and received coverage in the state's largest daily newspaper, local newspapers, on drive-time radio shows and on three network television stations.




Krispy Kreme Grand Opening

Krispy Kreme employees prepared for the flood of customers who visited the store on opening day. In fact, the West Allis restaurant's grand opening was so successful it became one of the doughnut chains top ten grand openings nationally.
The new Krispy Kreme stores attracted thousands of doughnut lovers all looking to get a taste of the famous doughnuts. Zeppos & Associates assisted with coordinating various aspects related to the stores' groundbreakings and grand opening activities.
When Krispy Kreme Doughnuts debuted in Wisconsin, it conducted a competitive search of area firms. Zeppos & Associates was selected to help the famous doughnut maker establish itself locally through a groundbreaking, grand opening parties, media preview opportunities, community outreach activities and various media promotions and contests. The firm assisted with coordinating doughnut deliveries to local businesses, neighbors and the media prior to the grand openings. In addition, the firm organized having a local high school band, face painter, doughnut toss game and more at the groundbreaking and grand opening events.

Representatives of local businesses and media outlets, government officials and thousands of area doughnut lovers attended the numerous activities. Krispy Kreme fans lined up outside the restaurant as early as 3:45 a.m. in West Allis and, for the Brookfield store opening, some doughnut fans even camped overnight to get a taste of the famous treats. The events generated extensive print, television and radio coverage for Krispy Kreme. Successful planning and a sound, strategic plan helped create much excitement for the new stores. The approach further distinguished the doughnut chain and established it as one of Milwaukee's newest landmarks. In addition, Zeppos & Associates' work with Krispy Kreme has won the firm several awards for its results, success and creativity.
